My legal practice focuses on equity and debt securities offerings, executive compensation and equity plans, M&A, real estate investment syndications, and start-up formations and structuring, along with a wide range of general business and corporate governance matters. I serve, part-time, as legal advisor to the Bank's Board of Directors and management on corporate, regulatory, recapitalization, and goverance matters. I also advise bank management on legal issues relating to lending and collection legal matters, custom loan work out negotiations and documentation, collateral foreclosures, borrower bankruptcies, and management and sales of Other Real Estate Owned.

Served as General Counsel to a health care technology and services company, advising senior management and the Board of Directors on corporate, technology outsourcing, and commercial legal matters.

Before founding Rivers Business Law, Inc., Eugenie Rivers was in practice for 12 years, most recently as a corporate finance partner at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP. Before becoming an attorney, Ms. Rivers was a Vice President of Commercial Lending with First Interstate Bank of Alaska and Alaska State Bank. Her areas of expertise included commercial and real estate lending transactions, small business financing and advice, credit analysis, workout negotiations, foreclosure, and bankruptcy.
