I am an international development advisor with over 30 years of experience across 50 countries, specializing in inclusive socio-economic growth through finance, trade, sustainable tourism and public-private partnerships. My career spans leadership roles in banking, nonprofit, and consulting sectors, including 12 years at Bankia in Spain, and advisory work at the World Bank for 10 years.I’ve founded Sustainable Development Initiatives (SDI), providing technical support to governments, multilateral organizations, and corporate entities. My consulting work includes projects for the EU, UNDP, Inter-American Development Bank, and others, covering economic planning, access to finance, and sustainable development.I have also taught at institutions like George Washington University and Universidad Complutense, and advised Spain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs on policy evaluation.In 2020, I co-founded SDI Europe, helping social change-makers across Europe, Latin America, and the U.S. I currently work with the European Commission on the Global Gateway initiative and collaborate with regional organizations in Latin America, Africa, and Asia.Holding dual citizenship (Spain/US), I split my time between Washington, DC, and Madrid.
