I'm an experienced Indirect Taxes practitioner and I’m privileged to be part of the PwC Ireland Indirect Tax (ITX) team. For 17 years I had the privilege of leading the PwC NZ ITX team. I’m currently the network lead for indirect tax policy and led the global digital ITX network (from 2018 - 2023).I've helped many clients particularly those in the financial services, property, public and local authority, retail, retirement villages, and technology sectors. I have successfully represented clients in leading cases on GST recovery and Customs valuation. On the tax policy front, I've been involved with numerous GST/VAT and Customs law reform consultations, the NZ Customs law rewrite and assisting various industry bodies with significant GST law changes.I love helping others succeed and I'm part of a fantastic team. Current assignments include helping offshore sellers and platforms with VAT obligations on online sales, strategic planning in relation to digital reporting, global supply chain transformation, and resolving tax disputes. I'm also helping the PwC global network in relation to VAT in the Digital Age, e-invoicing and digital reporting, tax governance, sustainability, international trade, and the taxation of crypto assets and NFTs. My interests include almost every sport, writing, foreign languages and travel. I was on the board of Gymnastics NZ from 2014-2017 and have served on various community boards. I care about people and build long term and genuine relationships.
