• Responsible for all aspects of the design in the product development cycle.
• Design development from initial concept to on-going product support.
• Refine and detail ideas, develop 3D data and prototypes to clearly communicate design intent including colour, materials and finishing options
• Assist Marketing, Product Developers and R&D in the research and identification of consumer insight and need gaps — and lead the development of new innovative solutions to address those gaps.
• Partner with Engineers to ensure the designs are cost-efficient, moldable, mechanically feasible, while firmly protecting and communicating the design intent and creative vision of the product.
