My laboratory is driven to solve current outstanding problems in biomedicine such as cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. The visualization of disease progression and therapeutic monitoring of small animal models is critical for developing therapeutic strategy in clinical medicine. Towards this goal, we establish innovative in vivo optical imaging platforms and methodology by creating functional imaging technologies spanning molecular, cellular, tissue-organ, and whole-body scales using toolsets from biomedical opto-scopy. Our approach will provide insights into basic biology and translational medicine.
