I oversee a cross-functional team of 20-30 engineers, driving the end-to-end launch of Fintech products. My responsibilities include strategic planning, resource allocation, sales engineering, risk management, and aligning processes with company goals.Our unit specializes in projects based on DX products, including an Order Management System (OMS) with risk management, trading terminals, and admin UIs. We have a preference for backend-heavy, performance-sensitive projects.Main achievements include:- Transforming a project team with a single project into a delivery unit managing eight accounts.- Revamping team processes and project portfolios, leading to increased revenue.- Integrating presale pipeline into the unit's processes, paving the way for a more stable sales pipeline.

As a Solution Architect, I support the Sales department by estimating projects, gathering requirements from clients, and suggesting phases for project delivery. Once a project is signed, I oversee both its technical aspects and, in some cases, business aspects as well. Additionally, I serve as a mentor, helping technical teams gain the necessary knowledge in the business domain.The final products are brokerage or CFD/Crypto platforms based on the DX product, which include client and admin UIs, and an OMS with external integrations.

After being a Project Manager, I chose to temporarily pivot towards a more technical focus, delving deeper into system design and coding. This decision led me to return to my previous role as a Development Team Lead.My responsibilities encompassed planning, hiring, mentoring (covering both hard and soft skills), along with requirements elaboration and decomposition.During this period, I concentrated primarily on enhancing the throughput of the project's Order Management System (OMS). To accomplish this, we experimented with Aeron, sharding, and additional orders routing. This led to a substantial rework of the OMS' orders pipeline, significantly improving its efficiency.

As a Project Manager, I was responsible for the upgrade of existing production platforms to the latest product release. This was a challenging task due to an extensive list of changes from two years of active development, the lack of backward compatibility for some business features and APIs, performance incompatibilities with the existing platform, and the need to migrate a substantial existing database to a new data structure within a strict maintenance window.I led a dedicated project team of around 15 engineers. Despite the challenges, we successfully delivered the release and performed all required migrations.Though my role was primarily managerial, I continued to code, dedicating about 5% of my working time to writing scripts for routine automation, calculating team metrics, and forecasting project costs. This allowed me to maintain a strong focus on the technical aspects of the project and manage project risks effectively.

My team were SRE for a multi-asset trading platforms. The platform included trading terminal, admin interfaces and OMS. Due to B2B nature of incoming order flow, the platform was susceptible to any latency degradation — which was one of our main area of work.I was also responsible for the processes in the team, hiring, estimation and technical elaboration of the business requirements. I actively participated in development of the backend modules.

Development and maintenance of Multi-Asset Institutional Trading Platform and Back office system.Tech stack: Java, Spring, Postgres, Hibernate, OSGI.Main tasks included: Stabilization and performance improvements of the distributed trading platform, designing and extending public API, upgrade of the projects dependencies. I worked closely with Business analysts and Architects to elaborate requirements and to find best trade-offs between time-to-market of the new features and the performance impact.

Maintenance and configuration of Linux servers
