My name is Eulice Claros. I am Mechanical Engineer major from Missouri University of Science & Technology. expected to graduate in December of 2019. While attending school I have been heavily involved in the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers. I have also accrued professional experience through internships with GE Transportation, The Clorox Company, and recently Pella Corporation. I am currently looking for full time position for after I graduate in December 2019 At my previous experience with GE Transportation I was placed with the Lean Manufacturing Team where I received Greenbelt Six Sigma training. I performed time studies in order to improve on standard work and optimize the process where I could. I participated in an Action Work Out that was heavily involved in the material availability on an assembly line and waste reduction.Having completed a co-op with The Clorox Company at their Kingsford Mfg. Belle plant, With Kingsford got experience with project management, evaluating process improvement, and plant technical support. Participating heavily during the plant annual shutdown by managing contractors. With Pella Corporation I was placed in the Custom Solution plant for Window and Doors. Every window or door going down the line was different than the last with a wide variety of shapes and sizes. This type of plant offered the opportunity for creative problem solving. I was tasked to design, and 3D print various tool attachments, jigs, and safety guards. One of my personal strengths is adaptability, which I had the opportunity to put to the test within this role. I will be graduating with a very wide set of experiences specific to manufacturing. I believe I could be a great asset. Thank you for taking the time to read my summary.
