Maintenance Technician
CurrentJob DescriptionAssisting in regular inspecting equipment and doing preventive maintenance in time. Assisting in cleaning and lubricating machine parts. Assisting in performing corrective maintenance and replacing faulty parts as and when required. Maintaining equipment and tools in good condition.Recommending corrective or preventive actions to assure or improve product quality or reliability.Evaluating manufacturing equipment, materials, or components.Assist engineers to develop, test, or manufacture machinery or other equipment.Assemble or disassemble complex mechanical systemsTest machines, components, materials, to determine characteristics such as performance, strength, or response to stress.Inspect electrical, mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.Maintain SOPs as instructed & maintain good housekeeping of equipment, workstations and any other areas. Participate in implementing effective improvements and solutions as instructed.Learn and expand to carry out any other responsibilities that your supervisor may assign you from time to time.Ensure all pathways/aisles are clear with easy access to all firefighting facilities in case of emergency.Assess, manage and mitigate risks and maintain the documentation.Periodically maintain report for further analysis of maintenance.Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines and ensures that all deadlines are met.Supporting the team’s overall objectives as a team member.Executing all the activities with applicable ISO standards and workplace policies and adheres to all safety guidelines.
