As a vital part of USA International Ballet Competition’s operations, I was the receptionist and assistant to the Director of Finance and Operations and the co-chair of Translators and Interpreters. This temporary role’s responsibilities included answering phones and greeting visitors to the office and acting as a general assistant to the office while handling customer inquiries and fulfilling supply orders for the office. In addition, I reorganized the storage room of merchandise to create a more efficient system while creating an inventory spreadsheet to keep track of what items were sold and donated. Research Staff

Rnlbio/K-Stemcell

I researched breath analysis as a pre-screening process for lung, breast, and thyroid cancer. Through the analysis of biomarkers in exhaled breath, the research focused on determining the chemical compositions related to specific illnesses. As a member of this research team, I met with doctors of local hospitals, clients, and investors to explain the research and develop partnerships. After samples were collected, samples were run through GC-MS and an electronic nose for analysis. During this time, I also supported other research teams by assisting with the technical writing of papers for scientific journals along with translating and editing documents from Korean to English and vice-versa allowing the company to avoid costs from outside translators and editors.
