bespoken is a music mentorship program offering support to women in the classical, contemporary, and jazz industries. We put artistic visions into action through our one-on-one mentoring and workshops- structured yet personalized — designed to provide skills training, career oversight, and strategies for building a career as a music professional. bespoken supports musicians who are interested in developing their skills, advancing their projects, and charting their own career path.bespoken fellows receive bi-monthly, one-on-one mentoring sessions (two hours each) for six months. In addition to these sessions, fellows are able to participate in group workshops with established and emerging female leaders in the arts where they will learn skills, share ideas, and ask questions regarding the music industry. These workshops are designed to bring together a community of women in the arts who foster creativity and confidence in their day-to-day lives. Each fellow's plan includes bio, resume, and website oversight, as well as creative project and brand development. Each participant will learn the basics of marketing, PR, and management, while exploring new modes of creative expression. Assist in developing, coordinating, and moderating panel discussions on music entrepreneurship topics. Write monthly newsletters for both alumni and students. Update Facebook page with thought-provoking media while promoting the center’s services and professional development programs. Proofread departmental documents and external correspondence. Draft internal memos and other correspondence.

Coordinated the after-school and summer enrichment programs for elementary school students. Supervised assistant teacher and volunteer. Responsible for class of 15 students. Planned field trips and activities for all subjects (math, English, art, music, etc). Taught Junior Achievement curriculum and administered exams (i.e. WRAT). Invited guest speakers for special presentations. Private tutoring. Spearheaded a music program for the students geared towards improving their English.
