- Primary responsibility to oversee and manage the procurement activities in ensuring the Bank’s procurement processes are efficient, cost- effective and aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives.- Work on optimizing the procurement function in delivering value, mitigating risks and supporting the Bank’s overall goals.- Implement the Bank’s procurement strategy by developing the Procurement Policies, Procurement SOP and assisting with the Third Party Risk Management Guidelines – aligned with the Bank’s objectives.- Collaborate with other stakeholders on daily basis such as legal & compliance team, operational risk management team and business units to understand their needs and requirements that relates the procurement processes. - Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and following the Bank’s ethical requirement standards.

- Partner up with key stakeholders to develop innovative procurement strategies, supply arrangements and negotiating plans to deliver value for money outcomes. - Apply the procurement governance and risk management framework to ensure compliance, manage risk and improve procurement activities and performance. - Develop and implement procurement plans and strategies to meet business needs, enhance stakeholder management and maximize supplier’s performance. - Commercial negotiation to enhance advantages towards business needs and optimize cost savings. - Assurance on all procurement activities are done consistently under all policies within the Group.

Focusing on cost management for the entire operations needs, which includes packaging material and warehouse services management. Practicing strategic negotiations with preferred vendors as well as ensuring a smooth S2P (source-to-pay) process with all related parties. Managing the delivery timeline for replenishment items, CAPEX projects and campaigns’ stocks. Looking into purchases from Shopee Xpress, ShopeeFood & HR team, liaising with the legal team for all contracts and legal agreement matters. Managing all sourcing activities for marketing needs and currently looking into setting up processes and risk management for S2P processes for business units under purview. Hands-on with vendor management as well as ensuring communications between stakeholders are done seamlessly and on point.

Managing day-to-day purchases for the Group, ensuring process flow is in place and maintains highest integrity. Focusing mainly on marketing and A&P purchases, which is the biggest expenditure for most companies.Working up the ISO process for procurement department and ensuring all steps are compliance.

Xterra Malaysia 2013 is a series of an off-road triathlon that is licensed under Team Unlimited. Held in Putrajaya on April 27th, Xterra Malaysia 2013 received tremendous support from MYCEB and many other corporate companies that came in as sponsors. The event saw 11 pro-athletes (from Australia, Japan, South Africa, UK, etc) that flew in to race in the serene and exciting route that was designed specially to cater to the international standard.
