I am a self-driven, tenacious and passionate individual. My passion for finance stemmed from my love of literature, and I aspire to one day be able to make an impact on our society through my devotion to finance. I am also someone who always takes initiative as I believe only through taking charge of our lives are we able to grow alongside an ever-changing and progressive society.I graduated from the National University of Singapore where I had pursued a degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance. Previously, I had graduated from Temasek Polytechnic with a Diploma in Business with Merit, where I had specialized in Banking, Finance and Investment. I had also graduated alongside a Diploma Plus Certificate in Psychology Fundamentals.I am trained in Household Finance, Personal Financial Planning, Financial Modelling, Financial Analysis and Security Analysis and Portfolio Management, which I have excelled in. These subjects have contributed to my knowledge in conducting financial analysis of personal finances as well as those of companies and its operations. They enable me to translate findings into meaningful and insightful information. I was previously a Research Analyst in the Fixed Income Department of the NUS Investment Society, where I conduct credit research and bond valuations, as well as utilize financial modelling.Upon graduation, I had worked as an Investment Analyst at a Single Family Office before deciding that I would much prefer a client-facing role. Hence, I ventured to a separate role, working as a Business Consultant for SME business owners. With the knowledge and experiences I have gained along the way, I have now decided to pursue a career in the financial advisory industry. I am fully aware of the social stigma around this industry, but I take pride in knowing that I have found a career that goes beyond myself. The day I no longer feel that all my efforts and education had gone to waste, but instead, knowing that all the knowledge and experiences I had went through will allow me to fulfil my purpose and serve the community in my own way.
