Prepared all monthly reports, responded to most communications, letters etc, typed and printed purchase orders and paid school expense. I managed the office; called parents when their children were sick. whatever the job entailed, I did it. An elementary secretary wear many many hats that don't carry a job description. You do it for the love of the students!

I worked as field counselor visiting the various migrant camps collecting data information on the migrants living at these camps. Most of these people migrated hundreds of miles from their native homes and this info was critical in assisting these people to get back to their families in times of sickness and occasionally in the death of some. I really enjoyed my work until I had to start visiting the camps at night because we were missing many of the crews who would be in the fields working during our daily visits.
