I led the development and iteration of the Out of School Youth (OoSY) Entrepreneurship Curriculum that was implemented in Eastern Uganda. I provided leadership in curriculum and learning experience design, and training material development.

• Collaborate and follow-up with research and product teams to design new features to improve learner experience.
• Design and execute UX tests informed by research through collaboration with the research team.
• Collaborate with the research team to conduct problem diagnostics and identifying solutions for A/B testing.
• Contribute to company strategy for prioritizing new partnerships and content to add to the Arifu platform.

• Designed content, developed assessment frameworks, reviewed and updated internal content development processes and supervised Learning Designers.Responsibilities:
• Managing learning designers and consultants to ensure a consistent professional-level quality of content.
• Training learning designers on best practices in instructional design for mobile learning.
• Aligning with internal teams and partners on content objectives and expected outcomes maximizing on project documentation and reports, and communicating with partners to resolve content-related issues.Achievements:
• Spearheaded research to understand how star learners can be used to onboard new learners on to the learning platform. Insights drawn utilized in designing a Randomized Control Trial (RCT) to test different onboarding.
• Led the design of precision agriculture project. Involved developing content for a recommendation engine that was initially developed for the Tanzanian market in collaboration with International Institute of Tropical.

• Designed eLearning content, carried out content development research activities, tracked content performance, monitored learner performance and advised on relevant interventions. Key Contributions:
• Contributed to the design and structure of programs including setting learning outcomes, brainstorming treatment design, wrote content and informed program evaluation.
• Collaborated with partners and subject matter experts to determine learning objectives and outcomes.
• Conducted field research to gather insights on learner biases, mental models and cultural norms to inform content design.Achievements:
• Led the initial research on the use of rich media in content. Insights drawn informed which rich media to incorporate in content that resulted in high learner engagement rates.
• Led a concept graphing initiative that resulted in the development of a Skills Score Algorithm; making it possible to measure different skills that learners acquire and provide agility to tweak content if desired.
