I'm an Information Science student at the University of North Texas, focusing on Information Management Science and Health Informatics. I’m passionate about using technology to improve healthcare systems and manage information effectively. To expand my skills, I've taken courses on Udemy and DataCamp in web development, SQL, and Python. I also completed a cybersecurity course with CodePath, gaining hands-on experience in system basics, access control mechanisms, network exploits, and data security.In addition to my academic pursuits, I'm driven by a desire to make a positive impact and embrace new challenges. Last summer, I worked as a UX Designer Intern, where I collaborated closely with developers and customers to design and improve UI features, incorporating feedback into several key dashboard enhancements.Currently, I work as an Administrative Assistant in a healthcare setting, which has given me hands-on experience in managing and optimizing health information systems. My role involves working extensively with Epic, a widely used electronic health record (EHR) system, where I assist with managing patient records, ensuring accurate insurance verifications, and coordinating with other healthcare providers to ensure seamless care delivery. I aim to help improve the efficiency, accessibility, and quality of healthcare services through data-driven solutions and advanced health information systems.
