The Academic & Corporate Affairs Department deals with strategy & policies, curricula renewal and quality assurance. In addition advices and supports the Board of Directors, teaching & supporting staff with various projects: digital transformation, internationalisation, and quality agreements (kwaliteitsafspraken). In addition to management, Eun-mi has advised the Board on the merge of two departments and eventually guided the colleagues involved in the implementation phase.Since the summer, Eun-mi continued to work for HTH as a Legal Counsel, making sure that all corona regulations are translated to new and adjusted HTH policies. In addition, supporting the Board with the right decisions to make sure that all students adhere to corona measures.

CommunicatieDe opleiding Communicatie (CO) leidt studenten op tot professional in de wereld van communicatie. Een communicatieprofessional denkt vanuit organisatie en merk, analyseert van daaruit de omgeving en vertaalt dat in een strategisch communicatieadvies. Daarin worden boodschap, middelen en media op een innovatieve en creatieve wijze ingevuld. Hij of zij is in staat om dat proces van begin tot eind aan te sturen. Dit alles om de doelstellingen van organisatie en merk te realiseren.

The department Oriental Languages & Communication is part of the faculty International Business and Communication at Zuyd University of Applied Sciences in Maastricht. Its the only place in Holland, where students are able to study the languages Japanese, Chinese or Arabic on HBO-level, together with communication and business courses. Our students are educated to become communication professionals with a global mindset, able to operate in an international environment.As head of the department, I am responsible for the quality of the program and the curriculum, together with a devoted group of teachers, so our students get the best education possible. We make sure that all our students find suitable internship positions, in Holland or overseas. All our students also study one semester at a partner university in China, Japan or Arabic speaking country. Therefore we rely on an extensive network of partners in near and far Asia.

East West Education Center (EWEC) is a company based in Amsterdam that offers a wide range of services to students, academic staff, young professionals and higher education institutions in Europe and Asia. We believe that a global mindset is a necessary asset for young professionals in order to navigate in a fast changing world.

Managing Nuffic Neso Korea in Seoul, South Korea to promote Dutch higher education in South Korea. I was responsible for profiling Dutch institutions in South Korea and to attract the best Korean students for Dutch universities. During five years, hundreds of qualified Korean students left for Holland to study. As a director I was also responsible for establishing academic cooperations, enhancing networks, including Holland Alumni Network in Korea.

Als eerste en tweedelijns jurist betrokken bij schrijven van amvb's en wetsvoorstellen voor het primair en voortgezet onderwijs. Als wetgevingsjurist bewaak je de wetgevingstrajecten tot aan publicatie in het Staatsblad. Daarnaast was ik juridisch adviseur en gaf ik ad hoc juridisch advies op uiteenlopende actuele kwesties.Naast mijn juridische werkzaamheden, was ik hoofdredacteur van het juridisch blad 'Juriwijs', uitgave van afdeling WJZ van het Ministerie van OCW.

As a correspondent based in Seoul, serving Dutch media, I covered a wide range of subjects; social issues, economy, North Korea, humna rights etc. I wrote mainly for Dutch newspaper Trouw and my radio reports were broadcasted by Wereldomroep, NOS and Vara.

I made radio reports for the daily radio programme 'Radio Urbania'.
