Global professional with over 20-years experiences in multitude of roles that encompass technical, financial, and managerial disciplines. A proven team leader that has built up new teams and led new organizations within the renewables and med-tech space. My approach to my teams is collaborative and built on mutual goals and trust.     In order to win key targeted deals in the competitive European and SSA markets deals, we needed to think out of the box to deliver partner/client and GE value. The aim of the Project Optimization (Value Engineering) team is to work closely with our partners/clients and our internal teams on selected target deals in the region, to identify various value enhancing strategies (materials, design, commercial structuring etc) with a view to delivering a project that is finance-able and that can “hurdle” in today’s market. In simple terms, our team will work closely with the developer, the sponsors and the consultants to understand the project's value model and then use “what we know” about our product and commercial capabilities to deliver value for both GE and the partner. The team will also serve as a front-line resource for the Product and Engineering teams to test new ideas (like Life extensions, asset optimization etc) and by sharing lessons learnt (e.g. Icing efficiency warranties etc), so that these can be incorporated into the next generation of products.My team also works with the hybrid solutions group to develop commercially viable packages to integrate wind with other forms of renewable energy and storage with the aim of further lowering the levelized cost of energy (LCoE) and boosting project returns.
