Business development including developing Outreach and Marketing strategic plan. Identify opportunities to develop business relationships with community organizations, churches, schools, etc. which will results in improve access for the populations served by The Brooklyn Hospital Medical Center. Represent TBHC in community and Board meetings. Liaison to all political leaders in the community. Collect and report information to administration and the Board regarding to community needs and objectives of The Brooklyn Hospital Center. Plan and coordinate workshops and medical screenings in schools, senior centers, churches, housing developments, etc. Provide services with the medical van that stationed in various locations.

Mnhattan

Responsible for Outreach & Marketing, Enrollment & Medicaid operations, Volunteers and Auxiliary, Business Development, Community Affairs, and Philanthropy. Planning, organizing, and coordinating fundraising activities including the annual dinner. Plan and coordinate all outreach and marketing activities. Act as liaison between Gouverneur, Chinese community and political leaders. Work with the Medical Director to arrange for doctors and professional staff to provide medical information and screenings to patients. Conduct training for staff to improve their efficiency and proficiency. Provide consultation on difficult and unusual cases and identify resources to resolve patient's Medicaid related issues. Educate staff and patients with the latest laws, rules and regulations relating to Medicaid. Established off-site locations for the enrollment activities.

Manhattan

Responsible for the operations of Satellite Clinics including Judson Health Center, Smith Family Heath Center and Baruch Child health Clinic, Managed Care, WIC Program, Patient Relations, Communication, Transportation, Outreach and Marketing and the Information Center. Provide administrative support in routine and emergency situations. Prepared clinic schedules, monthly and annual statistics and related reports. Resolved patient complaints. Involved in strategic planning and implementation of policies that will effect optimal revenue enhancement for the facility. On-going monitoring all performance improvement projects relative to managed care operations. Ensuring that Gouverneur is in compliance with managed care contractual agreements. Ensuring that all staff is in compliance with managed care policy and procedures. Responsible for the tracking of managed care patient utilization and outreach to low utilizers to ensure that patients receive the best quality care.

Manhattan

Direct the Purchasing and supply activities for Gouverneur. Bellevue and the satellite clinics. Procurement of materials and inventory control. Resolved problems and issues relating to the Purchasing operations. Responsible for the daily operations of Accounts Payable, Equipment Control, Transportation, Mail & Messenger and Elevator Operators.

Prepared, coordinate and assist on the Grand Opening of Gouverneur Hospital. Set up equipment and furniture throughout the facility. Responsible for tagging and inventory each piece of equipment, furniture and all assets that have value over $500. Responsible for stores operation that include Receiving Dept., Medical/Surgical supplies, Dietary supplies, Household supplies, and Stationery supplies.
