I have recently completed three years of teaching within the Psychology Bachelor program at the University of Groningen. During this time, I had the privilege of instructing and mentoring students in various areas, including academic writing (specifically 'Academic Skills' and 'Research Practicum'), as well as communication and diagnostic skills ('Communication & Diagnostic Skills' and 'Diagnostiek in de Klinische Psychologie').Throughout this experience, I have undergone significant personal and professional growth. I have honed my teaching abilities, acquired invaluable expertise in group facilitation and providing constructive feedback. Moreover, I have enhanced my skills in time management and independent work, while also fostering an openness to seeking assistance and engaging in meaningful discussions with colleagues.Teaching at the University of Groningen has been a rewarding opportunity that has solidified my genuine passion for working with both individuals and groups.Looking ahead, I am excited about pursuing a career in clinical psychology. The next phase entails gaining practical experience in clinical psychology as a 'basis psycholoog'. Ultimately, my aspirations include pursuing the 'GZ-opleiding' and a 'klinisch psycholoog opleiding' to further advance my professional development in this field, specifically in working with and assisting individuals who have personality disorders.
