The aim of my study is to do a continental wide analysis of warming both onshore and offshore Antarctica with the goal of identifying foehn warming events along the terrestrial coastal margin. Remote sensed data for land and ice surface temperature in combination with in-situ observations from automatic weather stations and mesoscale climate models will be used as data for the analysis.

I have worked on several projects mostly regarding mapping of the seabed’s raw materials. Usually I assisted during the whole process including finding existing information, gathering of new data, data analysis, making illustrations and maps for the final report. My work was therefore a combination of practical field work and data analysis. My practical work includes a 20 days vibrocore surveying in Inner Danish Waters in October 2017 with the purpose of mapping speculative raw materials.
