I am also certified in Emergency Medical Dispatching (EMD) and Emergency Medical Dispatch Quality Assurance (EMD-Q) with the International Academies of Emergency Dispatch (IAED), which demonstrates my commitment to excellence and professionalism in my field.As a communications supervisor at American Medical Response (AMR) until May 2023, I was responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dispatch center, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and providing coaching and feedback to the dispatchers. I also handled complex and escalated calls, coordinated with other agencies and responders, and maintained accurate records and reports. I used various software applications, such as Microsoft Office, Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), and Computer Numerical Control (CNC) programs, to perform my duties effectively and efficiently. I also trained and experienced in Just Culture systems and personnel management, which enabled me to foster a positive and supportive work environment. I was recognized for my leadership, teamwork, and performance, and received multiple commendations and awards from AMR and external partners.
