• Quantum atom-light interface based on Caesium (Cs) atoms trapped around a tapered optical nanofiber
• implemented a new Cs atom-nanofiber experiment designed for quantum non-demolition measurements and the creation of non-classical atomic states
• investigated light-atom interactions in the Cs atom-nanofiber

• Sodium (Na) Spinor Bose-Einstein Condensate (BEC) experiment
• investigated quantum phase transitions and antiferromagnetic ordering in a Na spin-1 BEC
• studied spin dynamics and resulting atomic correlations

• Rubidium (Rb) Spinor Bose-Einstein Condensate (BEC) experiment
• studied spin dynamics and observed strong quantum correlations in Rb spin-1 BEC
• developed the capacity to measure the atom number beyond the quantum projection noise
