Eva Dougherty launched Smooth Transitions of Seattle LLC after she personally witnessed the emotional and physical challenges older neighbors and family members had during their own transitions including moves, downsizing/de-cluttering and aging at home. This experience inspired her to help seniors and their adult children going through the same life changes by providing personalized and compassionate move management and aging in place services. These services range from consulting, to helping with things they can't or don't want to do, to managing the entire move or downsizing project. She also understands the priceless value of our belongings and has incorporated ways to preserve memories of items and family stories as a special service when requested.
