Finance Manager - Business Partner
CurrentFinance business partner working closely with production company creating a real and active partnership with both operations and management. Providing 'real time' support and analysis, being a trusted adviser and adding value that will assist in decision making. Able to communicate own message, to understand the audience and deliver the information in a clear and user friendly manner. • Actively influencing day to day decisions, shaping strategy and the direction of the business• Interfacing between finance and operations• Understanding and anticipating the needs of both operations and management• Interpreting data, ordering and assessing its value and then presenting the findings to the relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise way• Forming and standing over own opinions, having a well-developed sense of ethics and being prepared to stand up for these principles• Learning from the past but being future orientated• Performing month-end & year-end closing activities for a production company• Gathering, reviewing and submitting monthly reporting of both financial & non-financial data • Participating in monthly forecasting process • Preparing monthly variance analysis related to standard costing, following up on business KPIs• Participating in fixed asset process to include creation of investment orders for Line of Business • Preparing for and participating in monthly finance review meetings with General Manager and Value Stream Managers• Participating in annual Target Setting process including update, implement, and review• Experienced within costing and knowledge of Standard Cost Accounting in general• Motivating, managing and developing team of business controllers and IT coordinators• Strong time management and prioritization skills• Experienced within SAP, MS Office, Outlook, Power BI• Experienced in LEAN as a structured approach to continuous improvement of business processes• Speaking and writing English effortlessly
