Eva Maria Cayanan is the Country Director of Terre des Hommes Netherlands in the Philippines. She studied Political Science and Public Administration; and has over 30 years of experience in child rights work, advocacy, and development management. Eva Maria's executive leadership in big international NGOs in Asia and the Pacific is well-known. She has strong expertise in organizational development, training, community organizing, child rights, governance, child protection, gender and women’s rights. She gave technical advice on themes in these areas throughout the region, including advocacy in global and regional platforms. Her strong commitment to children's rights and influencing policy change has made her a respected expert in the field. Eva Maria continues to lead impactful initiatives that improve the lives of vulnerable children in the Philippines and globally.
