• To carry out proper and exhaustive analysis, vetting and evaluation of all credit applications using CAMPARI/SWOT Analysis, before recommendations or approvals for the same are made.• To ensure perfection of all securities before drawdown of any facilities is done. To keep proper record of all facilities that have been released e.g. loan, overdrafts, guarantees, credit cards and monitor their performance.• Review and restructure the loan and overdraft accounts that are not performing and initiate recovery & remedial measures• To maintain excellent custody of security documents, their lodgment and withdrawal. To monitor all loan standing orders to ensure they are honored and payments are up to date• To confirm and ensure timely renewal of all insurance covers for the securities held. To ensure that all the advances portfolio accounts are properly graded on compliance to Central Bank guidelines• Ensure accurate and timely submission of credit returns either monthly or quarterly• To collect all revenues and fees which are due to the credit activities undertaken by the department e.g. custodial, discharge fees, insurance commissions, negotiation fees on facilities• Custodial services/Alternate Business, which involves trading of shares and stocks listed in the Nairobi Stock Exchange market for and on behalf of our customers, operating and maintaining CDS accounts• To ensure that there are no successful frauds within the department and the branch
