I am currently a senior at Timpview High School and plan to go to college after graduation. I am highly involved in swimming and it has been greatly influential in my life. I have swam on my club team for over 7 years now and have been a part of my high school's swim team as well since freshman year. I served as a team captain during my junior year and love to continue to get to know other swimmers and improve myself in the sport. I have a myriad of interests that I could pursue career wise and I haven't yet decided what I want to do professionally, but I am interested in the medical field and marine biology. These interested have been influenced by my parent's careers in the medical field, classes I've taken at school, and my love for the ocean and marine life. I have been working as a certified lifeguard the past 2 summers, which includes a CPR Certification and First Aid Certification. I have also been working as a private and non-private swim instructor the past two summers and have spent a lot of time teaching kids water safety skills and how to swim.
