About Eva Polyviou
Holder of a PhD in Ancient History and Culture, a Master's degree focused in Ancient History and Epigraphy and a Bachelor in Classics, I am a passionate teacher and lecturer with a demonstrated history of working in the secondary and higher education. Skilled in Educational Technology, I have completed training in Digital Humanities with the University of Oxford (July 2018). Experienced researcher, I have cooperated with the University of Padova in Italy and the University of Cyprus. I am currently conducting independent research, publishing regularly and delivering conference papers and public lectures. Over the last few years my interests and projects include the teaching of subjects of my field in the secondary education with focus on the perspectives offered by the new technological tools and the contemporary tendency for interdisciplinary approaches in education. I have recently co-edited the volume, Classics in the Secondary Education (in Greek), which was published by the Cyprus Pedagogical Institute (Nicosia 2018).
