Eva Salas is a Seeking Engineering Internship Summer 2025 | Student at University of Wisconsin-Madison, Class of 2027. Colleagues describe her as "Eva participated as a Mechanical Drafting intern with Phoenix through Maydm program. Her first tasks were to create 3d cad models on Solidworks from 2d dimensioned prints to evaluate ability to read prints and use Soilidworks. Eva's proficiency with Solidworks were immediately evident which she gained through Maydm program. It was clear to me she was ready to engage with projects at Phoenix. We started with creation of dimensioned prints then quickly evolved to assembly modeling and prints. Eva also participated in mechanical design of existing hardware for improved safety and increased efficiency in assembly. In between projects, she filled her time with learning advanced modeling techniques in Solidworks and creating cad modes of off the shelf components from manufacturer's data sheets. It was a delight to collaborate with Eva this summer. She is intelligent, creative and motivated. Eva has great attributes which will help her succeed in STEM career. "
