I am a Senior Biology Major at Emmanuel College with a concentration in Health Sciences. I transferred from New York University in 2021 where I began my pre-medicine track. I am seeking a summer 2024 internship in the healthcare field with a preference for clinical work. I am currently employed at Franciscan Children’s Hospital as a Certified Nursing Assistant.I have been previously employed at CrisWell Medical Spa where I managed client intake, scheduling, and reception duties. I have shadowed the plastic surgery department at Shiners Hospital for Children in Boston, MA. I am also a member of the Women in Science at Emmanuel (WISE) Initiative. In May 2022, I traveled to the Galapagos for the laboratory component of an Organismic and Evolutionary Biology course where we had access to the lab at the Charles Darwin Science Center and presented valuable research on plastics and pollution. I work as a nanny outside of school as well as a volunteer for the Department of Children and Families, Foster Care Unit and have experience volunteering at childcare facilities as well as local food pantries and community organizations.
