I am currently a student in the College of Science and Engineering at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities where I am studying Computer Science and Spanish language, with the goal of obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a minor in Spanish. I am enrolled in several courses which expand upon my existing skills and introduce new abilities in areas such as mathematical thinking, language and communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking and reasoning. I have a moderate level of experience in JavaScript and Python programming, as well as knowledge of information technology and local area networking. I have an interest in computer programming and cyber security, but enjoy all things related to computer science. I have received the Regional Affiliate award from the National Center for Women and Information Technology two years in a row and maintained Highest Honors throughout my high school career. I am a member of several student groups at the University of Minnesota and enjoy participating in volunteer projects and events to give back to my community. I am hard-working, organized, and dependable, and I communicate well with others due to my writing and speaking abilities.
