Vice President of Learning and Development is the face new members see when initiated into Kappa Delta sorority. In this position, I welcome new members into the chapter, educate them about Kappa Delta's historical and current information and involvements, plan events such as bid day and new member retreats, and lead a team of SET leaders who help me accomplish these tasks.

I assist the Department of Public Works- Right of Way division with Vision Zero and Active Transportation plans. These help to eliminate traffic-related deaths, as well as encourage individuals to focus on public transportation and biking. I compile and analyze data with the goal of expanding transportation and environmental initiatives. I then input this data into GIS systems to expand public knowledge on Active Transportation models and the resources available to them.

During my internship with Mercury Public Affairs, I research bills in the PA House and Senate and compile reports from PLS GovTrac that are then sent to clients. I also support Blake Lynch in his congressional campaign through volunteer phone calls, voter checking, and drafting email newsletters. In addition, I write grant proposals, create contact lists, and complete administrative tasks to prepare for events.

I was responsible for ensuring that paperwork pertaining to student employment is adequately completed and submitted in a timely manner. This is done through reaching out to students who have gotten a job, or are in the process of doing so, and making sure they know what steps must be completed before they can start working. I also worked as a resource for students who have questions about employment or wish to seek help in finding a job that best suits them. Finally, I aided my supervisors in administrative tasks, such as redesigning and reorganizing parts of the website, filing paperwork, and designing graphics to advertise events that we host.

I was a member of a cohort of students whom assisted Professor Hirsch with the Welcoming City research project that he has been working on at Franklin & Marshall College. We designed an exhibit in which research findings could be presented to students and Lancaster residents, increasing their knowledge of immigration that occurs in the city they live in. To kick this exhibit off, a panel of peers and I presented our findings and parameters to students and faculty at the exhibits' opening luncheon.

Along with a team that I led, I was able to rebrand my chapters' social media so it would represent the diverse array of interests among members. I conducted research into what other chapters were doing, designed surveys to see what sisters were interested in, and thought of unique ideas that could differentiate us. After doing so, the team and I designed advertisements and graphics that would be published to social media. This role required that I communicate with sisters about plans and encourage participation in activities and posts, with the overarching goal of improving chapter morale.

I collaborated with others on campus to plan social events that allowed members from respective organizations to get to know one another. I planned, organized, and hosted these events to encourage morale and promote a stronger sense of sisterhood. Doing so taught me how to account for unexpected problems and improved my skills such as resilience and adaptation. The success of events led to stronger bonds being formed and Kappa Delta to have increased involvement on campus.

COB refers to continuous open bidding, which occurs on campus each fall. As a committee chair, I was responsible for speaking to students who were interested in joining a sorority and educating them about Kappa Delta.

There is one sisterhood chair designated to each grade level. As freshman sisterhood chair, I was responsible for designing events that would evoke closer friendships between freshmen members. I listened to feedback about what members would want to see and then organized events based on that feedback.

As an intern for LFFC, I was responsible for conducting research into current farming practices and organic certifications to learn how the non-profit currently functions. I then researched regenerative agriculture and what becoming regenerative certified would entail. I composed my findings into a final report that showed the environmental versus social impacts of converting the business model, as well as what member farms would be interested in doing in the future.

As a referee, I was responsible for ensuring youth soccer games ran smoothly. In order to do so, I enforced official youth soccer rules, communicated with coaches and parents, worked with other referees to ensure smooth cooperation, and enforced fair play and good sportsmanship among players.
