Responsible for the overall management of the secretariat of the Network. I devised action plans, drafted formal documents relevant to the work of the Network and supported the setting up and coordination of working groups.I was responsible for planning, preparing, organising and following-up of regular meetings and trainings. I coordinated the preparation and agreement of the agendas and invitations, organised preparatory meetings, drafted and assured that all meeting documents are prepared in advance. I contributed to the preparation of the budget planning, financial commitments regarding the meetings/trainings. Another important task was to raise awareness of the evaluation program of biocidal active substances according to the Directive 98/8/EC. I was responsible for informing the companies about their duties resulting from this Directive, by formal meetings with the customers as well as by contributing to preparation of informative documents and brochures.I coordinated the preparatory activities for the evaluation process of dossiers to be submitted in accordance with the provisions of the Article 16 (2) of the Directive 98/8/EC. This included the coordination of the various Slovakian State Authorities co-responsible for the completeness check and evaluation process, especially by assisting in organisation of trainings, as well as by providing scientific and regulatory support.In order to prepare the national legislation implementing the Directive on biocides, I reviewed the translations of the European Legislation. 2007: Seconded national expert for Scientific advice on guidance and committee work for REACH.
