Managed the editorial teams of three countries (India, Malaysia and Singapore) in the building of a new online product, Lexis Practical Guidance (PG), for their local markets:o Trained legal editors on the editorial process, differentiating between practical content from traditional research content, and editorial systems for online publishing.o Trained and mentored the India and Southeast Asia Team Leads, who directly managed the legal editors on a day-to-day basis. Developed and refined methods for tracking approximately 13,000 manuscripts through the editorial process for 16 modules across three different countries. Sourced for a new vendor to convert content to xml-format, which included negotiating the terms and conditions of the contract, developing a training plan, training, reviewing the vendors’ work during the proof of concept phase, selecting the vendor, and ongoing review of the selected vendor’s work during the pilot phase. Completed a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (GB) course, and a GB process improvement project which allowed us to launch 16 PG modules across three countries in 1.5 years. -
