The Association for Mountain Parks Protection & Enjoyment (AMPPE) is a unique member-based organization that advocates for balance between sustainable tourism, ecological integrity and positive visitor experience. AMPPE represents a wide range of stakeholders, from park users such as skiers, hikers and campers to tourism operators, restaurants and hotels. As a highly respected non-profit organization, AMPPE is recognized by both federal and provincial levels of government for its balanced voice in the decision-making process within Canada's Rocky Mountain parks. www.amppe.orgIn my role as an administrative coordinator, I managed the membership relations and correspondence, administrated the membership renewals and invoices, coordinated the fundraising initiatives and organized a fundraising gala for nearly 300 guests in Banff Springs Hotel. I was in charge of the website and social media development, content generation and management. I also managed all office administration and supported the executive team of the association.
