As a Special Adviser for the Embassy and Permanent Mission of Iceland in Vienna, I contribute to the promotion and protection of Iceland's interests and values in various international organizations, such as the UN, the OSCE, and the IAEA. I apply my expertise in gender equality, human rights, and international law to support Iceland's diplomatic efforts and initiatives on these topics.I hold a LL.M. degree in International and European Law, Public International Law track, from the University of Amsterdam, where I specialized in International Human Rights Law, International Humanitarian Law, and International Refugee Law. I also have a BSc (Hons) in Politics, Psychology, Law and Economics (PPLE), with a minor in Gender and Sexuality studies, from the same university. These interdisciplinary and diverse academic backgrounds have equipped me with the skills and knowledge to approach complex global and local issues from different perspectives and to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.I am passionate about creating a peaceful and sustainable world, where human rights and gender equality are respected and promoted. I have received awards and had the honor of being elected Iceland's UN Youth Delegate on Gender Equality, representing Icelandic youth at national and UN levels. I am a positive and enthusiastic person, eager to learn, and attentive to detail. I pride myself on my creativity, analytical skills, and resourcefulness.
