Arranges public appearances, lectures, contests, or exhibits for veterans to increase service awareness and to promote goodwill. Studies the objectives, promotional policies, or needs of organizations to develop public relations strategies that will influence public opinion or promote ideas, fundraisers, or services. Consults with advertising agencies or staff to arrange promotional campaigns in all types of media for products, organizations, or individuals. Establishes or maintains cooperative relationships with representatives of the community, veterans, employers, or public interest groups.Serves as liaisons between veterans, homes, schools, family services, health clinics, courts, protective services, doctors, and other contacts to help veterans and their families who face problems, such as disabilities, abuse, or poverty.

Job Summary: Primary responsibilities are to facilitate and coordinate responses to a wide range of requests received from military and veteran constituents and providing liaison between the Congressman’s office and the various veteran’s organizations in the district. District military / veteran case workers help constituents interact with administrative and government agencies by acting as facilitators, ombudsmen and, in some cases, advocates. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Serves as a facilitator between constituents and federal, state, and local agencies as necessary as a representative of Congressman Gowdy, 4th District of South Carolina. Communicates clearly with constituents about what can and cannot be done on their behalf by the district office. Up-to-date with the laws, regulations and intricacies affecting a constituent’s case as well as the procedures and structure of Congressman Gowdy’s office regarding casework and employee obligations, as outlined in the House of Representatives' Ethics Manual. Additionally, responsible to perform other duties as assigned by the Congressman, Chief of Staff, and Director of Constituent Services.

This included customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer service. Assisted in multiple procedures, prep, breakdown, set up; which also includes purchasing and storekeeping, also was asked to be the point of contact between the patients and the referred Doctors.

Personnel Security Manager - Managed over 463 Aircrew and 153 Ground crew personnel files. Ensured that proper clearances were maintained for all employees . All security files were kept in accordance with federal government regulatory guidelines. Provided administrative support, too include investigator reviews of security files and questionnaires to satisfy said requirements. Initiates periodic reinvestigations, requests for reinstatements and renewals every 5 to 10.Certified Airborne Communicator and Operator - Trained and educated personnel on the communications equipment onboard the aircraft. Performed over 400 post mission reports and identified procedural errors, contributing to crew efficiency. Safeguard over 2000 classified items, keeping continuous up to date inventories and maintaining proper handling and destruction methods. Planned and organized 3 command functions, raising hundreds of dollars in support of increasing morale. Time management of work loads, providing maximum output for production of both short term and long-term tasks assigned, and an ardent force in building a strong foundation in leadership and teamwork.
