• Employed by Jacobs Engineering Group as part of the JSC Engineering, Technology, and Science (JETS) contract at NASA’s Johnson Space Center (JSC) • Working as a certified Test Director (TD) in the Pyrotechnic Systems group within the Energy Systems Test Area (ESTA) of the Propulsion and Power Division at NASA-JSC – scope includes design, manufacturing, inspection, assembly, and testing of explosive devices for spacecraft • Responsibilities include writing test plans, test procedures, and hazard analysis documents; managing and leading test planning meetings and formal test readiness reviews; designing/ building test set-ups; executing test procedures at on-site test facilities; performing post-test data reduction and analysis activities; resolving anomalies/discrepancies that occur during testing; and writing the final test report to convey the objectives, approach, setup, and results • Current TD assignments include Pre-flight Verification Testing (PVT) of a pyro-initiated Forward Bay Cover Gas Generator in support of the Orion Human Spaceflight Program; Random Vibration Testing of an on-board Data Acquisition avionics assembly in support of the International Space Station (ISS); and random vibration testing of a Tube with an integrated bellows for the Extravehicular Mobility Unit (EMU) for use on the ISS.
