I am a collaborative researcher at the NOVA School of Science and Technology of NOVA University of Lisbon, Center for Environmental and Sustainability Research (CENSE), Caparica, Portugal, and Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP), LEVE-Laboratorio de Estudos do Veiculo Eletrico, Instituto Geociencias, Departamento de Politica Cientifica e Tecnologica, Campinas, Sao Paulo. I have been dedicated to the elaboration of projects, carrying out studies with submission of articles in indexed journals and consulting activities.

As a Ph.D. candidate and researcher, I investigated electric vehicles energy efficiency, CO2 emission balance from the energy and transport sectors, public policies for the diffusion of electric vehicles (EVs), and support infrastructure for EVs in Brazil. I presented a study at the IEEE international conferences (Casablanca, Morocco). I published two articles: one revealed the ideal characteristics of EVs for Brazil, as well as the challenges and opportunities of mass market EVs in the country. The second study quantified and identified the best location for an EV charging network in Belo Horizonte. The thesis was awarded in 2019, and a total of seven articles, and a report were published from 2014 to 2020.

I am an electric mobility enthusiast and expert. The blog's goal was to keep followers informed about electric mobility. The blog (VerdeSobreRodas) had more than 2.000.000 likes. The blog's activities ended in 2019.

County Cork, Ireland

I was guest researcher at the University College Cork, Ireland at The Environmental Research Institute. I investigated about infrastructure to diffusion of electric vehicles (EVs). I published one article that quantified the number of electric vehicle supply equipment for Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to support the diffusion of EVs. I presented one study an Irish conference (ITRN-2017), and a second study was presented by myself in IEEE international conferences (Belfort, France) and published in conference proceedings.

I was a researcher collaborator at FGV Energia, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil where I co-authored an online published report about electric vehicles (EVs) in Brazil. The study revealed an updated view of electric mobility in Brazil and worldwide.

Brussels Area, Belgium

I investigated electric vehicles (EVs) infrastructure in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I published an article that quantified the number of electric vehicle supply equipment required for the effective diffusion of EVs. The study revealed the location of EV charging stations and pointed out new attributes. A study was published, and a poster was presented on Belgium "Research Day" event. I was Ph.D. candidate (dual PhD) and researcher at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium (and NOVA School of Science and Technology of NOVA University of Lisbon).

Davis, California, Us

I was a guest researcher at the University of California, UC Davis, Institute of Transportation Studies, Plug-in Hybrid and Electric Vehicles (PHEV) Research Centre. I investigated CO2 emissions of road vehicles, the best road transportation technology to mitigate climate change, and policies to promote the diffusion of electric vehicles (EVs). I published two articles: one revealing the main policies for EVs. The second article pointed out that EVs is more environmentally friendly than the ethanol vehicles, and around three and a half times more environmentally friendly than Internal-combustion engines (ICE) vehicles.

My first Ph.D. candidate and researcher year, I prepared a study to assess the environmental and energy impacts with the introduction of electric vehicles as a replacement for internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles. I prepared a balance of CO2 emissions to quantify the reduction in CO2 emissions, and an economic balance to quantify the country's financial savings from the reductionof burning fossil fuels. The study was presented at the IEEE international conference (Coimbra, Portugal) and published in the conference proceedings.

Before becoming president, I worked as a consultant for automakers in Brazil and abroad, supporting brands such as Audi, BMW, BYD, Chery, Chevrolet, Citroën, Fiat, Ford, General Motors, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Land Rover, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Peugeot, Renault, Sinotruk, Suzuki, Toyota, Volkswagen, Volvo, and others. My main activities included: a) Supporting car manufacturers in restructuring or developing dealership networks; b) Advising new entrants (assemblers) seeking to operate in the Brazilian market; c) Promoting benchmarking visits abroad (more than 20 international events were held in countries on three continents) to learn about new production systems, distribution systems, and management practices; d) Researching and developing products and services.

I worked in a leadership position in automotive industry in Brazil. As a director of a largest Brazilian's automotive network (around 2,000 employees), I was responsible for managing all business units in different regions of Brazil (Porto Alegre, Maringa, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Contagem, Salvador, Recife and Belem). My activities included a) Collaborate with the preparation of strategic business plans; b) Supporting the managers of the regional units in the implementation of business operational plans; c) Contributing to the achievement of established sales and profit targets; d) Presenting the business plan and the results achieved to shareholders.

I was a regional director of the automobile federation (FENABRAVE-MG) and the automobile dealers union (SINCODIV-MG). I represented all automotive brands and dealership network in Minas Gerais. Both positions required constant relationship with industry leaders, automotive retail, media, government, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
