☀️ I love Science and learning new things about every possible topic. ⚗️ After obtaining my BSc in Chemistry I realised that I needed to keep learning and getting to know more about the beauty of Science and so I went on to pursue a MSc and a PhD in Organic Chemistry. 👩🏻🎓 At 23 I was awarded a Marie Curie scholarship for a project focused on the use of synthetically modified oligonucleotides (short strands of DNA) for analysis and therapeutics in Belgium, and off I went. 🔬 For 4 years, I was immersed in an exciting international environment, learning something new every day and getting to do research and advancing knowledge about nucleic acid therapies that may one day improve people lives.🎯 Getting familiar with the development of new therapies made me realised that I wanted to get to know more about clinical research and see first-hand the impact that new drugs have in patients and therefore I decided to pursue a Master’s in Clinical Trials Monitoring, while doing an internship as CRA. 💊 At the moment, I am looking for a healthcare related position where I can use my expertise in pre-clinical and clinical research and keep developing my knowledge about Medical Affairs, pharmacovigilance and scientific writing. 🧘🏻♀️ In my free time, I enjoying reading, doing yoga and salsa and Lindy Hop dancing.
