- Qualitative Researcher -Eva Maureau has a MA and PhD in medical anthropology in the field of health promotion and gender equality. She spent over a year conducting qualitative research in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Eva has extensive experience in planning research projects, conducting ethnographic research, and analysing data systematically and critically. She presents her findings in a clear and concise manner in both oral and written format and she adapts the jargon, depth, and messaging to the specific audience. Eva has a natural ability to initiate, develop, and maintain positive and constructive networks. She is perseverant, enthusiastic, flexible, and a fast learner who loves to delve into a new subject and who happily incorporates feedback. - Tutor -Eva has extensive experience as a tutor and guest lecturer in social science at the University of Canterbury. She has also given several guest lectures in the tourism and business department of the Nelson Marborough Institute of Technology (NMIT). - Business Owner -The last 8 years Eva has been involved in setting up an adventure tourism company. Together with her partner she started Abel Tasman Canyons Ltd. As owner operator she has developed her managerial, logistical, communication, and marketing skills among many other things that come with running a small business. Now that the canyoning company is well-established, Eva is looking for a new challenge. She would like to combine her managerial, research, and teaching skills and work in the field of health promotion.
