A recent Ivey Business School graduate (additionally studied writing and digital humanities). I have a passion for the graphic arts, media, and film and am striving to enter the industry. Throughout the summer of 2018, I worked as a marketing intern for Bellwether X, where I created and edited web content for Green Relief Inc.; identifying desired topics and optimizing SEO generated an increase in followers across multiple social media platforms and higher search rankings for the cannabis LP. I additionally worked as a production assistant, screenwriter, and video editor for Wonderlight Studios, contributing to film projects such as Waterfall, Skin, Comfortable in Another Bed, and Bit by Bit. In 2017, I worked as a writer for PureGrainAudio, where I acted as one of the website’s two leading sources of film coverage; writing reviews, blockbuster-centric listicles, and news pieces.I have entrepreneurial experience in marketing and video production; over the past five years I have owned and operated both 8Seconds and Art Hero Camps. These experiences, coupled with my ongoing volunteer work, also taught me to develop and manage marketing streams, meet strict deadlines, and work collaboratively on creative ventures. In 2015, Art Hero received a Halton Summer Company Award.In addition, I’ve had the opportunity to work on several creative projects both professionally and as a volunteer contributor. I recently produced animations and logos for the YouTube channel Game and Scotch, developed a promotional live-action/animated video for Glenn Arbour Academy, designed a CD cover for Sonny’s Glen, contributed to the poster design for the short film Getaway Kids, and developed promotional material for Zimmark Inc. During my time at Western, I also took on ongoing volunteer positions as a Western faculty soph, instructor at the Boys and Girls club of London, and as the graphic designer for Western’s first photograph magazine.
