The Royal Automobile Club of Victoria (RACV) is one of the largest and most respected insurance and motoring services providers in VIctoria. The Public Policy Department advocates and lobbies on behalf of our 2.1 million members for improved traffic and transportation outcomes and infrastructure across Victoria. My role involves determining the transport and mobility needs of our membership and advocating for these on their behalf. In particular this involves conducting member feedback surveys and managing consultants to conduct research, which then help inform and help us develop our policy positions. My role then requires me to advocate for these positions in policy and strategy discussions across all levels of government. A further aspect of my role is to engage and utilise media professionals to develop media content to advertise and promote these policy positions.

Our majorclients include the Stockholm Metro and public transport authority, Stockholm City, the StockholmPorts Corporation and the Swedish Traffic Authority. I have worked as a civil design engineer onmany large, complex projects and various road, traffic and cycle projects.Successful Projects:Stora Ursvik Suburban development, Sollentuna, Stockholm: Development of 670 residential units (both apartment buidings and detached dwellings). I delivered the civil design at the tender stage and at the construction stage. Design Budget: 200k AUD -Delivered 2015.Stockholm Bus Network Planning, Stockholm: Ongoing study into improving the efficiency of Stockholms Bus network; removing network nodes and improving the integration with existing metro, tram, rail, cycling and pedestrian networks. I delivered many feasibility studies and traffic solutions throughout 2014-1015.Kapellskar Port, Norrtalje, Stockholm:Construction of a large international port operating between Sweden, Finland and Russia. I developed the preliminary design, worked on the traffic modelling and then delivered the port layout design for tender. Delivered 2013-2014.E18 Freeway, Hjulsta-Kista, Stockholm:6km freeway project in Northern Stockholm. I worked on the final stages of the project delivering traffic signage plans and as-built drawings. Full Project Budget: 2 billion AUD - Delivered 2013-2014.

I was responsible for the delivery of infrastructure designs to the Greater Bendigo Community. Imanaged internal construction teams and contractors to deliver road, streetscape and drainageinfrastructure projectsSuccessful Project ExampleMackenzie Street-Olympic Parade, Bendigo. 2km roadway design in Bendigo. I delivered the civil design and oversaw the construction. Project Budget: 2 million AUD - Delivered 2011-2012.
