I am a dedicated self-starter, love learning new technologies, and tackling problems at their earliest stages. I thrive building systems at the intersection of hardware, software, and design with the goal to make people's lives easier and fun. I am interested in startups and venture capital and love discussing the next big idea. Most recently, I was a Co-Founder and the CTO of Allthenticate, a cybersecurity start-up whose product unifies all of the existing authentication needs (both digital and physical) of businesses into one easy-to-use, easy-to-manage system, enabling users to replace physical keys and passwords with their smartphones. Allthenticate's solution also future proofs businesses and users for Web3 and a decentralized internet.I received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering both from UC Santa Barbara (UCSB), have done research in cyber security, as well as worked in the aerospace and defense industry. I love to barbecue, I am huge sports fan, avid soccer player, and elementary surfer.

Undergraduate Research AssistantUc Santa Barbara Computer Security Group (Seclab) Jun 2016 - Jun 2018Santa Barbara, Ca, UsI am an undergraduate student research assistant in the SecLab group at UCSB. In this work, we plan to advance the state-of-the-art in embedded systems analysis by creating a system capable of automatically identifying regions of code that induce physical phenomena (e.g., turn on a light, unlock a door, actuate a motor). We then plan to leverage this system to identify security-critical flaws in the implementations of the firmware on various embedded devices (e.g., unlock a door without proper credentials). Moreover, we plan to leverage symbolic execution to not only identify these flaws, but produce reliable proof-of-concept inputs to produce the desired effect on production systems. The specific tasks will be: reverse engineering micro-controller-based systems (e.g., RFID readers, PC peripherals, Internet of Things devices) to understand their functionality, developing techniques for automating these currently manual tasks, and programming novel algorithms for handling general firmware analysis.• Constructed an original Arduino 3-way door lock to analyze relationships between code and physical phenomena.• Analyzing binary code in IDA to work backwards and identify ‘action triggering code’.• Programmed in C/C++ for the lock system and Angr for the binary analysis. -
