I manage a team of developers building Sling’s video streaming product. I handle both HR as well as the team management. Worked as part of the Platform Team to help developers go faster, architect solutions for cross-cutting concerns and quickly eliminate technical debt. Also led the Front End Developer Chapter to establish/maintain best practices and standards in the front end space, organize training, audit code and generally raise the skill set of the chapter. Some specific projects include:- Built a developer portal to document and direct our component strategy and style guide.- Reworked the front end build process to run faster, produce smaller bundles and improve page performance.- Established a strategy and direction for our front end components and ensured they were followed.- Improved the relationship between development and UX/Design through evaluation of needs and education.

Managed a team of CSR’s in our HQ who handled inbound calls, outbound promotional and outbound informational call campaigns. Ran contests and individual incentives for agents. Created training modules. Introduced new technologies/methods for enhanced productivity.Monitored and analysed call and sales data to provide insight for the marketing and sales teams.Worked closely with every department in the company to ensure my teams were updated and effective on the phones.Responsible for the software systems used to track orders, customer information, inventory, service issues and all other aspects of the business.
