Financial Accounting And Reporting Manager
CurrentFinancial Accounting and Reporting • Assist the Controller with the monthly closing process and coordinate with other members of the accounting team to ensure that closing procedures are completed in a timely manner.• Work with the CFO to maintain accurate, up-to date financial records in the financial system (Sage Intacct). • Prepare financial reports on a regular basis using OSI’s reporting tool, Nectari, ensure they are reconciled; perform analytical reviews on financial activity and coordinate variance explanations; update reports as needed and create new reports; assist with monthly or quarterly reports to department/program managers noting variances to budget and unexpected activity. • Board and Committee Reports: Prepare financial reports for Board and Committee meetings including statement of activities, budget vs. actual, balance sheet and dashboard.• Prepare and assist on special reports and special projects. Investment Accounting & Banking Oversight• Manages investment accounting process, including: o Tracking portfolio investments, including correspondence, statements, K-1s and other requirements for OSI’s 25+ portfolio managerso Updating values and income / expenses each month and reconcilingo Allocating investment activity to investors in the investment pool; reporting activity to investors on a quarterly basiso Tracking and setting up transactions as requested by OSI’s Investment Committee • Cash and Bankingo Downloading banking activity on a weekly basis for analysis; identifying cash sweep balances for investment in money market fundso Performing monthly bank reconciliationso Analyzing “Claim on Cash” on a monthly basisOther Responsibilities: • Manages timekeeping workbook including programming Excel macros, adding tasks and ensuring all employee time tracking is accurate and up to date• Assist Controller with audit schedules and respond to onsite team’s questions during field work and post-audit.
