Evan Cline is a Software Engineer at Matterworks at Matterworks. Colleagues describe them as "Van came to Plastiq as an intern halfway through his sophomore year at Tufts. With no prior industry experience, he picked up our tools and workflows within the first couple weeks and hit the ground running. By the 3rd week, he had a merge request out with his first feature ready for code review. He is an incredible self starter, capable of independently moving through uncertainty and leveraging all available resources to search for solutions. He was unafraid to engage in larger team discussions and asked meaningful questions to understand architectural decisions or features that were outside of his domain area. Plastiq really lucked out in hiring him. I think it's an understatement to say that he exceeded our wildest expectations by contributing meaningfully to both new and legacy codebases across our stack from Java/Spring to Javascript/NodeJs/React.
