Independently organized and managed a project focused on the role of a particular chemical signalling molecule in Primary Biliary Cirrhosis.

Lead a small team in planning and executing the 2010 National Technology Youth Leadership Conference.Conference attracted 50 of the country's most enthusiastic and high-acheiving graduating high school students.Overlying theme of biomedical technology, with a focus on leadership skills and personal development.

Attracted $4000 of sponsorship from some of the largest medical corporations in Canada, meeting and exceeding our sponsorship goals.

Started and ran charity for four years.Mandate was to collect school supplies and pack them into backpacks for children in need, who may not be able to afford the things they need for school.Solicited product donations from some of Canada's biggest companies (totalling almost $1 million over four years).Lead friends and volunteers in packing school supplies into backpacks (almost 7000 backpacks were packed and distributed over four years).Partnered with local food bank for help with distribution as well as packing space.
