At User Friendly, we are developing a innovative drug-checking solution for recreational users. From our unique and granular understanding of recreational drug users, my business partner and I formed User Friendly, an inventive drug testing solution that will motivate testing and decrease addictions. We are creating an electronic drug testing device with a friendly, toy-like design meant to be carried on a keychain. Our device is easy-to-use, discrete, and fun, satisfying all customer pain points.We've engaged in thorough customer discovery of recreational drug users and isolated the main factors that prevent drug testing. UserFriendly is to drug testing what seatbelts are for cars: we won’t eliminate overdose deaths or addiction, but we can reduce risky behavior for those who desire to be safer.

I, alongside Professor Ashish Bhatia (Director of the Business, Technology, and Entrepreneurship at NYU Stern) built the Founder Challenge in 2022. The FC is a co-curricular community of student entrepreneurs seeking alternative paths through their undergraduate studies by creating their own startups and gaining founder experience while in college. We noticed that despite being in one of the strongest and most celebrated business schools in the country, not many students are starting business ventures that address real-world issues and improve communities. At the Founder Challenge, we provide the community support, guidance, and accountability necessary for would-be student entrepreneurs to 'take the pledge', become founders, and gain founder experience. We've developed a research backed entrepreneurial ethos of bias-towards-action, method agnosticism, and process-over-product that we hope inspires students to have the creative confidence to become founders. Our mission is to catalyze the latent entrepreneurial capital on the NYU Campus to help solve the problems in our local communities and around the world.I provide mentorship and guidance to a community of over twenty-five student entrepreneurs, facilitating weekly meetings with the community as well as engaging in 1-1 conversations with individual students about their entrepreneurial ideas. I've engaged with and provided guidance on a hugely diverse range of student startups, from an accessory to empower womens' safety, a student-startup internship marketplace, digital guides for students entering college, digitally augmented shopping experiences, and many more. I work with new venture ideas every day and have gained tremendous experience in understanding what it takes to validate, build, and execute on potential businesses.

At Marine Snow, I mainly worked in two areas: customer development and go-to-market strategy.With the intern team, I developed an email campaign to strategically target dormant users of Marine Snow who had churned off the platform and incentivize them to participate in customer development interviews. We used the findings from these interviews to craft recommendations and changes to the app's user experience and interface, which we reported directly to the company founder and lead designer. I also conducted similar customer interviews with Marine Snow's target demographic college students, and have completed around thirty interviews with this customer segment. I also developed a go-to-market strategy that specifically targeted college radio stations around the country and their student employees. Along with the fellow interns, I ideated and executed on unique growth and customer acquisition strategies for these college radio communities. I also suggested a new 'groups' feature to the founder to help onboard college radio communities, which become a product feature in later releases.
