My experience in engineering extends over 9 years working in Aerospace primarily as a Design, Integration & Test Engineer for Orbital Sciences in the Launch Systems Group. During my work at Orbital I gained extensive experience in every area of launch vehicle and ground support equipment design, integration, testing and launch operations. In my time at Orbital and STARA Technologies I have contributed to the following analysis areas: static and dynamic structural loading and fatigue, weld strength, mechanical tolerance (2D and 3D), distributed mass, I also have experience in statistical mapping of mass property trends over the life of production programs. I have experience with finite element analysis and dynamic simulation on multiple programs as well as extensive CAD experience. In addition to my analytical experience, I have also developed and performed verification and validation testing on components, systems and structures to verify analytical findings.
